The daughter of an artist and granddaughter of a quilter, Diane was surrounded by creative women who taught her to sew, paint and draw at a very young age. A degree in fashion design from the University of Cincinnati and her early career as a print designer for Nordstrom resulted in her own licensing and surface design business in 2008. With a deep interest in folk art and a desire to constantly learn new art techniques, Diane fuses tradition with contemporary sensibilities. Her true passion is developing collections of patterns that can be mixed and matched for apparel and home. Diane currently lives in Seattle with her husband, Steven, and dog, Maggie. She enjoys spending her free time gardening, cooking and spending time friends. |
