Haven’t we all looked up to the sky, marveling at flight? It’s truly amazing! To this day when I hear a jet, I look up to see which direction it’s headed. Flight has always sparked my imagination. My wife’s father and grandfather were both professional airplane and jet engine maintenance and repairmen. Unsung heroes, “keeping them in the air”! In fact, Susan’s grandfather was one of Amelia Earhart’s mechanics! We had the opportunity to attend balloon races in Colorado Springs which provided a lot of inspiration for this artwork. Their whimsical shapes and brilliant colors were fascinating! This art is meant to UPLIFT a person and make them smile! Enjoy the fun!
